Issuer: Hei-Day LLC, Portland, Maine, USA

Overview

Hei-Day electronic gift cards (“Hei-Cards”) are issued and managed by Hei-Day LLC and can be redeemed toward eligible purchases of goods at hei-day.com or at any Hei-Day retail location in Maine. By purchasing, receiving, or using a Hei-Card, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

1. No Expiration or Fees

Hei-Cards never expire and have no service, maintenance, or inactivity fees.

2. Redemption

Hei-Cards may be redeemed for merchandise only and are valid for purchases both online and in-store. Hei-Cards cannot be reloaded, redeemed for cash, or applied to previous purchases.

3. Small Balance Cash-Out (Maine Law)

If you redeem a Hei-Card in person at a Hei-Day retail location and your remaining balance is less than $5, you may request to receive the balance in cash, as required under Maine law.

4. Lost, Stolen, or Misused Cards

Treat your Hei-Card like cash. Hei-Day LLC is not responsible for lost, stolen, damaged, or unauthorized use of cards. However, if you still have the original purchase confirmation and the card has remaining value, please contact us and we’ll do our best to assist.

5. Non-Reloadable

Hei-Cards are not reloadable. Once the value is used, the card becomes inactive.

6. Returns

If you return an item purchased with a Hei-Card, the refund will be reissued to a Hei-Card.

7. Unclaimed Property

Hei-Cards are subject to Maine’s unclaimed property laws. Currently, gift obligations sold after 2022 are not reportable as unclaimed property to the State of Maine.

8. Limitations

Hei-Cards cannot be used to purchase other gift cards, nor can they be transferred for value, resold, or redeemed for cash except where required by law.
