All squared away. Aveva’s Grytunderlägg Square Trivet is the minimalist cousin to the round ones, swapping circles for crisp corners while still rocking that soft, heat-resistant felt. Handmade from 100% wool with AZO-free dyes, it’s the perfect landing spot for a hot teapot, fresh-from-the-stove pan, or even a candle cluster. Sturdy, dirt-resistant, and naturally insulating, it handles the heat (up to 220°C) while adding a little geometric balance to your table. Pair it with Aveva’s round or Smiley trivets for a playful mix of shapes that keeps the table lively.

Care & Use

Hand wash or dry clean if it needs a refresh. Let spills dry, then brush them off like nothing happened. No machine wash — wool likes to keep its natural oils. Skip soggy pots and strong sun to keep the colors happy. Use with clean cookware, and remember: heat’s fine up to 200–220°C (390–430°F), but no lava pots, please.

Aveva Design is the Swedish brand that proves felt can be fun. Born in Malmö in 2011 when founder Eva swapped maternity-leave doodles for design, the collection has grown from scrappy recycled wallets to colorful home goods with serious staying power.
