Kate Pugsley is a Chicago-based illustrator and painter who knows her way around a gouache daydream. A RISD alum, she mixes bold colors, soft shapes, and just the right touch of whimsy in everything from magazine spreads for The New York Times to greeting cards for Red Cap Cards. Her work feels calm, charming, and a little bit magical—like everyday life, but cuter.
